Depends who take your interview. No meeting with team. Business people who does not know anything about science may take your interview and if you are good looking young blond girl, your chance of getting job and promotion are higher,
I had a 10 minute interview by phone and then got ghosted. I barely had time to deepen my answers and talk about my experience. I found it a little disappointing .

Do you have experience with mammalian cell culture?
First round is screening general question and the second round would be a presentation of projects that the chemist has been involved so far in order to show their knowledge and skills and they will be questioned base on their presentation

It was kind of annoying as it was re-scheduled 2 different times. One for going over a previous interview and the other because the interviewer lost track of time. They also did not realize I was still in college when it clears says I am on my resume.
