Had to do a presentation to the hiring manager. The reference check process was very tedious and lengthy for referees. Had to go through phone and in person interview. Process took a long while.
Interviewed by some HR lady in Shanghai and her English was pretty average.
Major red flag if you're applying for a position based in Sydney, Australia and the HR is in China. Utterly bizarre. Never heard back either which demonstrates a lack of professionalism.
