Interview was held via Microsoft Teams by two case handlers of my future unit. First half of the interview was dedicated for telling about what is expected from the intern, general tasks during internship and how does the procedure continue. Second half of the interview focused more on the applicant's dedication, knowledge on substance of competition law and academic background. I felt that the interviewers aimed to understand my motivations and interest to work with competition law. Substance questions were relatively basic, however, applicant should seriously understand the basic tenets of competition law. For example, I was asked about AEC and AVC tests and assessing which one is more suitable for the case at hand.

Il faut remplir un document en ligne, que l'on peut suspendre et reprendre ultérieurement. Ensuite, il faut attendre plusieurs mois avant d'avoir une réponse. Les questions à compléter concernent notre formation, nos expériences passées, nos motivations, notre niveau en langue. Il faut être très précis.

Entretien face à face avec le responsable de la DG en question; très ouvert et à l'écoute, pas de questions compliquées, explication du stage à effectuer (stage de 4 mois).
