First interview was approximately 15 minutes in length. Interview asked questions to confirm if looking for a full-time interview, asked if I had reliable transportation, confirm if ok with in-person office work, and confirm if ok with the hours expected. Interviewer then asked about what I was looking for in a position and then described the company and asked if I had questions. Interview described the levels one must work through in the company to advance which sounded very much like a multilevel marketing group. The job description on which I applied indicated that the company had multiple clients one would be managing but the interviewer confirmed they only have one client at the time and are trying to expand their team to have more clients. Interviewer then offered a second interview which I declined.

Odd interview process. Applied for an events position but was informed they do marketing for “nonprofit clients” but then they later indicated that their entire marketing firm only has one client. Definitely a MLM.
