First its a phone call with the recruiter from Apex so they can get figure out which companies they can send your resume out to then you interview with the contract company. I had both my interviews be with the prospective managers I'd be reporting to

the interview process was good they asked a lot of questions about the job and if I would be able to preform the task at hand and were also very friendly

The interview was practically nonexistent. They approached me with a job offer, and I started work after several weeks of back and forth on the phone. I didn't meet with anyone in person from Apex; I just started as a contractor at my assigned location when the paperwork was finished.
