      Entrevista

      The first step in the process consists in compiling an online form with basic information (e.g. CV) plus the salary expectations. Next, using the same SaaS hiring software, you are expected to answer open questions meant to assess your fit along six axes: Commercial, Technical, Market, Communication, Industry, Values. These are then evaluated by different employees, without knowledge of your CV so as to remove unconscious bias. The next step is the first interview. Organized online, you are asked questions related to your background, expertise, values etc. You are also given the opportunity to ask a lot of questions. Everoze is an employee-owned company registered in the UK. Once you are hired, you are given stock options that mature after two years. There is no formal hierarchy, despite extremely different seniority levels within the company and everyone knows the salary of all colleagues. Additionally, a lot of work beyond the core activities of the company is internalized, meaning that employees-shareholders are expected to somehow contribute to this type of activities. The third step would have been the second interview round. I received a rejection e-mail stating the reason for being rejected, as well as a link to the HR software page with an evaluation of my answers to the questions, as well as a comparison of my performance along the previously mentioned six axes compared to the best and to the average.

      Online, written questions: - One of your clients (an equity investor) is considering investing in solar projects in a European market of your choice. They would like to have an introductory discussion to get your thoughts, at a high level, about the investment opportunity and risks of solar projects. What key points would you raise with them? How would it differ to advising a bank. Please include a brief discussion of each key point. - A valued client asks you to perform a review of the technical and commercial aspects of their project. However, in their introductory email they anticipate a budget which is half of what we typically charge for a full review and a timeline that would be difficult to achieve because you have existing commitments. You think the wider team is also fairly busy. Please draft two brief emails: (1) an internal email to colleagues to gather opinions, and (2) an initial response to the client regarding this enquiry - You are working for a bank on a due diligence exercise looking to provide non-recourse debt funding for a portfolio of 1000s of residential solar PV and battery storage assets implemented by a leading company in Germany or a country of your choice under a 20-year lease / rental approach toward the customers.. What main criteria you would highlight for such project portfolio to be bankable (e.g. 3 criteria) and which typical risks would you flag for portfolios under a lease / rental business model (e.g. 3 risks) and how might these be mitigated? - What are the main changes you foresee for the PV and storage industries in the next five years, and how will the services of Everoze need to evolve to adapt to these? Please focus your response on one of the following countries: Germany, Spain or Portugal. - What is your key ambition or purpose and how will working at Everoze help you achieve this?
