Interview process went well. When it came time to offer for position, because I didn’t have experience in the industry (aka cemetery or funeral sales),which was never mentioned, I was then offered a sales counselor position at 1/2 the pay and told the sales manager position would be held for me after 3 months of training. Which is fine, but the job description never mentioned it, and after I turned down position, job description was then updated to say cemetery experience “preferred”. Watch out!!! May be a bait and switch.

Overall the interview was very smooth and professional. Questions very well prepared and especific to the open position. The hiring process was somehow a little slow. Communication was fine. A lot of memos to review on hire day and most of them were signed by former owner SCI Corp. Kind of weird or confusing especially for those who don't know the industry.
