Entrevista
Applied through a staffing agency for the role and had a screener interview with the recruiter. Then had a nice interview with the hiring manager. Then I didn't get any updates for almost 2 months, at which time they stated they had trouble defining what they were looking for in the role and that they needed more time to figure it out. It would have been nice if they hadn't wasted everyone's time and figured that out and been serious about actually hiring someone before posting a job as available.

I participated in two in-person interviews at Evolution, with the final step being a presentation/project. Every person I encountered was warm and welcoming and enthusiastic about their job and the outlook for the company. Where some companies require personality quizzes so they can grill you about what you're lacking, Evolution opted for a strength finder quiz and provided me opportunities to talk about my strengths, skills, and vision. Objectives for the position were clear, which made it easy to converse about how I could be of service. I was given a reasonable amount of time to put together my presentation and kept in the loop about the status of my hiring process throughout.

"A stereotype of employees in this career field is that they are introverts who prefer to work independently. Will you be able to work with accounts to grow relationships and develop the opportunities?"
Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. O processo levou 1 dia. Fui entrevistado pela Evolution Power Tools (Davenport, IA) em abr. de 2015

The controller called me a few days after I had submitted my resume and application online. The interview was a few days later. Panel interview with most members of management and people from the specific department I would be working in, about 5-6 in total. Straight forward questions on skills and experience. Very casual and comfortable. The group took turns asking questions. I was impressed that even the CEO of the company took the time to ask questions as well as give an overview of the company, it's culture, and it's growth strategies.
