It was a remote interview due to COVID protocols and lockdown. They talked a lot and asked me strange questions, but didn't seem focused on the job duties. Focus on culture, extracurriculars, hobbies, libations, etc.
Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou mais de 2 meses. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa ExchangeBase (New York, NY).
Entrevista
After applying and completing the assessment I got a phone call for an interview. First was the phone interview with the recruiter. It went well and was told that I would get a call letting me know the next steps. Three days later I was scheduled for an in person interview and met with the recruiter and the cofounder of the company. I was mainly asked about extremes that happened in my last position, we did laugh quite a bit and I enjoyed talking with them. Then I took a test on replying to emails for my responses. I then get a call 3 days later letting me know that they wanted to offer me a customer service Representative job. I asked why I wasn't being offered the manager position and they let me know they wanted me to learn the business first. I declined the offer due to wanting to continue in leadership and they ended up calling me again to see If there was any way to make me reconsider but i was offered a leadership position so I declined again.

I applied via Indeed and received an email thanking me for applying and that they would be in touch after reviewing my application. Two days later, I received a phone call from the hiring manager saying they would like to move forward in the interviewing process.
Part one would be a screening online and then a phone interview. The screening was super easy and asked questions I could see falling in line with the position description I applied for. You have 48 hours to complete the screening which is more than enough time. I completed the entire thing in 15-20 minutes tops.
Part two was the phone interview. I spoke with the hiring manager who seemed to be very knowledgeable about the oil and gas industry which seemed a little daunting. We began talking about what ExchangeBase does, what their values are, and what they are looking for. All of what was told to me was so attractive and made me want the job that much more. The phone interview went very well, was more of a conversation than an interrogation which I appreciated. It took a little over an hour, but I believe that's because I clicked with the hiring manager.
