I was contacted for an interview and gladly accepted as the company/role seemed like a good fit for my background. For the interview, the original person scheduled didn't show up, so a more junior employee interviewed me which is perfectly fine. He seemed unwilling to really hear my story, background, and motivation for the role - rather was quick to ask how much I was looking to make and give me an assignment. After I submitted the assignment, I never heard back from anyone - not even to acknowledge receipt of my assignment, or to tell me I wasn't being considered. Completely ghosting a candidate after having them work several hours on an assignment, and the person scheduled not even showing up to the interview, shows a lot about the culture of this company.
