I only got a first-round interview for this company but the experience was overall positive. The hiring manager was really nice and the first interview was more of a casual conversation about my experience and expectations for the role.

My interview process went smoothly. Everything was coordinated well up until my final panel interview was over. I shared my timeline with the recruiter and was told that I should hear back from her regarding the hiring decision by a specific date, which exceeded by two weeks. I followed up to share that I had an offer pending but was highly interested in working at Expedia. She said she'd call me; however, I never heard back from her on the decision. I reached out to the sourcer who connected me to the opportunity at the start to check on the status of the position months later. I was then told that the recruiter had mentioned that I "accepted" another offer when I never disclosed that. Although I didn't get the position, I wish that there was better communication between the recruiter and I, and that I was informed of the decision rather than not hearing back at all after going through multiple rounds of interviews. I would still love to be considered and apply to future openings at Expedia; however, my previous experience was not ideal.
