The recruiter for this role actually reached out to me to apply. I applied online and booked a meeting with her. The interview was relatively short, I explained my experience in the industry and the recruiter didn't really have many questions for me. Her response was "I'll let you know by X date if the hiring manager would like to schedule an interview with you". Well, I heard 3 days past "X" date, and received an email from Expedia (not even the recruiter) that they have decided to move forward with other candidates. No follow up, and no feedback which was slightly disappointing.
