Candidatei-me online. Fui entrevistado pela ExpoDisplays em fev. de 2019
Entrevista
Contacted initially about a phone interview. Back and forth was pretty lengthy as far as response time and phone interview scheduling. Initial interview went well - good conversation, had already vetted Expo, so I knew a lot about them. My resume and experience checked all the boxes and then some. After first call, they requested a follow-up call later that afternoon - went according to schedule - went well. Yes, I was interested, very. Got an email about 2-weeks later saying they were going with other candidates.

Interviewed by HR rep then production manager. They offered me a job and I accepted under false pretences. I was lead to believe there would be much better income potential than there was among many other things such as tools provided and schedule requirered. I was told when hired that I wouldn't be requirered to work everyday but 3 months in I'd had no offtime and when I spoke to the manager who hired me about it his response was simply "this is the new normal. " I had approximately 6 weekends off the last year I worked for them. Many work weeks were hitting 80 hours towards the end which may seem appealing to some however is it really that great to work so many hours when you are only making half of what you are worth?

Questions about carpentry and fabrication. Questions about my personal history. I have no record but they seem to have a preference of hiring ex cons because they know how difficult it is for them to find work and EXPO's policies towards carpenters is very similar to a prison labor camp. So it makes sense they would seek out men who are already accustomed to harsh conditions and little incentive.
