Wow...the worst employer to interview with. I got a call a few days after applying online, and that person (she) wanted to set up an interview for the following day. I agreed to her time, and the next day she called, but was so dumb on what a candidate posesses and they are "seeking" some unattainable thing that does not meet their job descriptions, and when you inquire about pay/hours (since they refuse to post it on their jobs descriptions) they will literally not answer. Needless to say, the jerk hung up the phone on me, because I wanted to know what the pay/hours were before continuing on the job interview and how I was not going to be bullied on the phone by someone who knows nothing about the field of recreation. She wanted to dictate to me that I know nothing about rec in LTC setting, yet refused to hear my answers on how I've been in the field of rec for well over 20 years now. Again, great messaging by hanging up the phone on someone especially during Covid-19 when they are desperate to hire...perhaps this is one of the reasons why so many of our seniors in Ont have died at these LTC homes cause the HR/Management is so ignorant and arrogant in their ways...sad to know that our elder population is dying because of their mis management, and their arrogance to others who want to work in the industry.
