I got called for an interview for the IT department and it went well . However no response and feedback from them after whether I got the job or not . Lack of communication is poor and professionalism is bad

Called by a recruiter. Met two people, one in HR and one in IT. Questions were about "what I knew about the company", a few questions about skills, and a lot of discussion about the previous incumbent of the role. That part felt very odd to me, and did not advance the discussion about the business's current needs, or whether I might meet them. I would not have accepted this position if offered.
