This is the worst process I have ever had with a company. The overall process with WorldAPP was pretty straight forward. I started off with a phone interview and then I went into the office for an in-person interview and then I had a video interview with the CEO of the company. However, I am extremely annoyed with how my candidacy was handled for the position. Everything went well up until the video interview. I first of all drove 5 hours to get to the office, since I am not from Massachusetts, for the position. The in-person interview itself went very well and then I received an email for the second round. During the second round of the interview, both interviewers told me that I would make a great career in sales which I am not interested in at all. A week went by after the second interview and I sent a follow up email and I was told that the "HR position was put on hold" but they wanted to offer me a sales job with the company. I was incredibly annoyed that I wasted an entire day driving to their office, interviewing for the position and spent the money on gas and hotel to stay over night there. I even told them when they had discussed the sales position that I am not interested in sales at all and they conveniently put the position on hold and offered me a sales job anyways. These people wasted my time and money and completely disregarded what I want as a candidate. I will never associate myself with WorldAPP whether it be using their products or looking for a job.
