De sollicitatie hield in dat ik als masterstudent een praatje maakte met enkele proffen die mij hun projecten voorstelden. Ik had er eenvoudig een uit te kiezen, waarna ik een projectvoorstel naar het FWO stuurde. Dit was echter nagenoeg volledig uitgewerkt door mijn promotor zelf.
