I was hired through Accountemps, and was taking night classes in the University. My interview was a meeting with the Accounting manager where we discussed my expectations for the position and temporary and long term prospects. I was honest with them and told them I was really only looking for a job to help get me through school. I was willing to stay long term if I changed my mind about my other long term goals, but at the moment I was looking for something temporary. I think it worked in my favor as a couple months into the job the manager indicated that it was cheaper to hire a temp than hire full time employees.
