A few days after I sent in my application (the actual server did not work so I had to submit it via email) I received an email from one of the managers clarifying my ability to speak French. I said I could write and read but not really speak. Three weeks later I had no response so I sent an email asking if they had already short-listed candidates, and they said HR should have already got in contact with me. About a week from there (so one month after application) HR got back to me and asked me a few questions. About a week from that (5 weeks from application) HR asked me for an interview. The interview was over skype with three people (two managers and same HR recruiter). They did not tell me that I would be asked some questions in French so I was caught off-guard and it did not go very well. I thought one of the managers was quite nice but the recruiter seemed quite unprofessional via email and was quite slow and didnt really response to my questions.
