About a week after I sent in my resume and work samples, I got an invitation for a telephone interview. The call was with the owner and lasted about 15 minutes. A week or so later I was asked to come into the office for a face to face interview. The interview started a little late and lasted over an hour. I first met with the owner who gave an overview of the firm, talked about a book he was working on, and the projects in the office, etc., and then asked me questions about my portfolio, experience, and what I was into. A half-hour later, we were joined by a project manager from the planning group and then the owner excused himself. The questions from the PM were more specific to my portfolio and she answered some of my questions about the office. Overall the atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly. But for whatever reason, I never heard back.
