One of the worst hiring processes I've come across.
I applied to the job and was contacted by a recruiter. Later, the recruiter scheduled a 1:1 with the hiring manager. The interview went pretty good and was informed that someone from the team will reach out within a week or two.
It's been more than 3 months now and after following up with the recruiter (I've lost count), the recruiter informed me that I've not been selected for this position. Rejects don't hurt, but not getting an update on the candidacy status does. The worst part is that pain is not after hearing the final decision, its during the hiring process.
The recruiter and hiring manager reached out to me several times asking me to apply to different positions at different locations, repetitively asking for my work authorization status, etc. and when this was not enough when they asked for my work authorization documents (and other supporting documents) before letting me know what the hiring decision is.
There is a difference in being a BIG company v/s a GOOD company. After this horrible experience, I just see FedEx as a big company. I strongly suggest the company to work on their hiring process and avoid following such inefficient hiring practices.
Lastly, to candidates applying/interviewing with FedEx, once your application process starts, it will take AT LEAST a couple of months for them to make the decision. Hence, don't rely on them and keep the hunt going!

Entrevista
Submitted application, one phone interview, offer made. The process was very straight forward, and efficient. From the time of submitting my application to when I received an offer it only took about 10 days. I would definitely recommend this incredible company to my friends and co-workers. Fred Smith is an absolute genius, and the values of FedEx are unmatched.

My interview was for an intern position, and since I didn't live in or near Memphis, it was conducted over the phone. There were several people on the call, but they immediately put me at ease. They had a very informal air about them, sometimes making jokes. It was a pretty standard interview, with mostly performance based questions.
