I was contacted by a recruiter over 6 months ago about a position, and occasionally am asked if I want to submit for another. The lady was very nice when we talked on the phone, but their sporadic communication has been sparse, generic and vague ever since. I certainly realize that the contract awards aren't in their control, but it feels like consultants are nothing but a line item on a spreadsheet. FWI does the bare minimum to keep people on the hook while they wait to seek if anything sticks. Figured I would give them a shot, but it's been a waste of time. Not recommended.
