The talent acquisition lead reached out to set up the initial HR screen, which seemed to have gone well, and he set up time for me to have a Zoom interview with the hiring manager. They completely ghosted me after the interview with HM, with no response to any of my follow up emails. A few months later, I received a message on LinkedIn from a recruiter who "just had to tell [me] about about this opportunity" and it was for the exact same role I had already interviewed and gotten ghosted for. C'mon. Get it together. As much as it sucks, I can sort of understand getting ghosted after the initial HR screen, but to have spent face-to-face time with the hiring manager and not receive a rejection email is pretty rude. What's even worse is to have that happen, and then be solicited for the same role they ignored me for.
