Entrevista
I interviewed at Findem in 2025 for a Senior Data Engineer position.
The process involved 4 rounds of interviews, including a take-home assignment that required significant time investment. I was told I was being moved to the final stages, and everything seemed to be progressing well.
Then—silence.
Despite following up, I received no update, no rejection, and no closure—even after 10+ days. Ironically, this is a company operating in the HRTech space, which makes the lack of transparency and accountability even more disappointing.
If you’re going to demand serious time and effort from candidates, the bare minimum you owe them is clear communication—especially for senior roles.
This experience signals either disorganization, a lack of respect for candidates, or worse, a culture of ghosting once internal priorities shift.

The leadership is only interested in interview frameworks and interview gymnastics; not actual metrics achieved on the job or performance and wins. There are bad product reviews on Blind. There are product promises on the website that are alarming. When asked about the technical parts of the product, or improvements to the product, my questions were not answered well. The company needs an overhaul on product management.
I had a great interview with the recruiter and was told I would be moving forward to an interview with the CRO. From there, it was incredibly challenging to schedule that interview. The CRO was traveling and wasn't able to share her availability. It took a week to schedule the interview and once it was scheduled, it was scheduled for a week out (2 weeks after the initial interview with the recruiter). The morning of the interview, after I had already spent time preparing, the recruiter called me and let me know that another candidate had already accepted the role. I appreciated the call, but it was obviously very disappointing, especially since it took them two weeks to schedule the interview. It feels like I was strung along and not given a fair chance at the role.
I believe the way a company treats candidates during the hiring process reveals a great deal about the company's overall culture, and this was not a positive candidate experience.
