Casual, not extremely professional as we went to a mall bench for the interview. This is a retail job so no prior experience was needed, but knowledge of basic shoe types (cleats, trainers, running shoes, etc.) was helpful. The hiring manager asked if I played any sports and was mainly interested in finding out if I would be cool to work with. I got the feeling that anyone could essentially do the job, he just wanted someone to be cool to work with.

interview was very straightforward. some easy questions, some tough questions. there were lots of scenario questions that i loved answering. i am very eager to hear back for my second interview
