Long, however reasonable, didnt go anywhere. They changed the requirements of the job. Looking. In the mean time I will be looking for other opportunities. In the future I will ask why the process took so long.

Wasted my time after 5 interviews only to find out they never had the budget to hire me. Very unprofessional. They didn’t tell me this information until week after waiting to hear back.

After a call with the hiring manager, I received a take-home exercise. Post-completion there was a round of multiple interviews involving dev team, devops, product, uptil last interview with the cto. The set of interviews were mostly back-to-back and went on for around 3-4 hrs. Unfortunately post the interview the company ghosted me with no updates. After calling multiple times I got to know they were not interested. Could've been better if this was conveyed much before

In the take-home exercise it was to add functionality on a web-app on their tech stack (ROR and react) with the provided requirements (it was fairly easy, with a couple of APIs). In the round of interviews initially, they asked questions about the take-home exercise and after a couple of rounds it involved technical knowledge discussions
