I applied online, The application process was intrusive and annoying... open an account guys? In 2019? Way too many damn questions, mostly reiterating my resume, when all I wanted was to drop my resume and let them do their reading.
When I applied I already saw the bad reviews on Glassdoor, and was not too excited about this company. I was thinking to myself... let's see if they follow up.
I scheduled a call with the HR woman after they accepted my application. She sent me an invitation to a certain time, but did not call on time and claimed she did not get my contact details on time (I sent them hours before the scheduled time). Eventually she called right at the end of my available time. How weird.
She told me the position is urgent.
She then went on to ask me completely brain-dead questions such as "Why are you looking for a job?". I was embarrassed for her. "Maybe because I always look to better myself?" (I was thinking to myself: "Tell me why I would want to work at this company?"). She sounded angry and resentful.
(I thought she said they urgently needed a developer....? When I go to the grocery store they don't interrogate me why I want to buy food. "Did you truly run out of veggies?").
She would not agree to go ahead and describe the job and the interviewing process.
I decided to end the conversation.
I hate companies that treat workers like their doormats.
From my experience, pathetic companies create pathetic interviewing processes.
P.S. I despise companies that believe in hiring developers by "recruiters". It's like hiring an elephant trainer by ballerinas, or vice versa. How can a clueless "recruiter" with zero understanding in technical education and work experience, understand the qualifications of a technical person? It does not cut it! There are numerous unemployed, retired, or seeking part-time developers who can do this interviewing work properly (for a change), if you just paid reasonably. Damn, I would do it on the side instead of coding 9 hours a day for yet another tech corp.

"Why are you looking for a job?"
Yes, that's right. Their "recruiters" are still throwing at you the same moldy "how to force the prospective employee on the defensive" sheet from the 1990s.
Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). Fiz uma entrevista na empresa First Advantage (Bengaluru).

It was good overall. They asked core software related questions. Some of the use cases they asked me elaborate. Overall it was healthy discussion & they were to the point.
