I had a phone interview which seemed to go really well and got invited to a in person interview. I'm new to the area so I drove in a week early for this interview. I asked them to let me know if they hired someone prior to me showing up because of this. I get there, they interviewed me, then make me shadow someone for half the day with no pay. Although I caught on to the job quickly because of my experience, and the lady even said I did great, they never got back to me to notify me that I didn't get the job. I even reached out for a simple email. HiPPA violations forsure, to have someone basically do a shadow orientation viewing patients charts and sitting in visits with no intentions on hiring was unbelievable.
