Applied, then the recruiter contacted me to see when I was available for a team interview with the hiring manager. Met with the hiring manager and senior engineer. Went very well. Then, a few days later, the recruiter scheduled me with another interview with 2 more managers on other teams that went very we'll to. Then, a week later, another interview with a director, and even though the director stated you are perfect for the position, it felt like he did not like me due to his demeanor and altitude. That interview did not sit well with me. 2 weeks later, the recruiter contacted me again and said, "You will know of our decision next week." Next week came and went. Then, about 2 weeks later, I contacted the recruiter, and she stated she was off, and next week, I will let you know. 2 more weeks went by an excuse after an excuse was communicated to me. Then I was ghosted from there on out. Which is okay because all they had to say is hey, you did not get the position, and I would have been good with that.

I applied through a job board online and about three weeks later I got an email to setup a phone interview. The interview was given by the same recruiter who emailed and the interview was brief and laid back and it seemed that the resume did most of the talking beforehand and the interview was just for specifics. they asked about accomplishments and salary requirements nothing special. I was told that the information would be relayed and contacted if I was a match. A week or so later I received an email from someone else who was to setup an in-person interview. they provided instructions and details on who would be doing the interviewing and the time slots. On that day there were three interviews in back to back. The open and calm nature of the interviewers made it much less tense. In total, the interviews were 2 hours or more but was very enjoyable. After a few days the recruiter calls back with an offer.
