Worst! Attending interview here ruins overall confidence. No second chance. Margin of error is very minimal. One wrong answer then you are out. I mean the whole interview got cancelled. No wonder this company has so many poor ratings from employees and the product has poor ratings from customers. My fault to have given the benefit of doubt to the company. Should have trusted Glassdoor and other online review forums more. Very evident when I met a senior leader for my interview (cannot call him a ‘“leader” but don’t know of a better word). I passed 2 rounds. First with HR and then with the hiring manager. Both 30 mins each. Then I was called for onsite interview. The first question I was asked was What is fiserv? When I answered that the interviewer did not like it. I could see that he was irritated. He replied saying if you don’t know the answer to the question then you could say so. I told him I answered the best I could. Then he replied saying I didn’t do enough research. I told him I did but this is the answer I could come up with. I asked him maybe I didn’t do enough research about this and I would like to hear in your words. For which i got a horrific response that you have to go and do it yourself if you want to know. Couldn’t really understand what did he want from me. I was asked a question for which I didn’t answer it right. So either you move on to the next question or educate what was the right answer. The interviewer didn’t want to do either. He was just pissed off. I realized that this interview is nothing but over. Then he asked me to ask a well thought out question with an extra stress on “well thought out”. I didn’t really know what to ask. Because I realized that whatever I am gonna ask he is going to shut me down as well. Then there was an awkward silence for few seconds. To kill the silence I told him I feel like I froze can I have some water and he responded that his time is valuable and lets end the interview. I accept that maybe it was not my best interview but why not have a basic courtesy to offer some water and then end it. If this is how a senior leader is in an interview I couldn’t even imagine how stressful it will be in meetings with him or reporting status to him. Thankfully this opportunity did not work out and I Felt so relieved. He said that my resume looked very good. Of course it was because I have done so much with my current product in a short time. That’s my skill. I do not have a degree in Fiserv to give a proper explanation on what is fiserv. Also if someone is expecting someone else to give an exact answer of what they are thinking inside their head I honestly think It is impossible to work for someone like that. It also made me realize that i will be fighting fires here all the time and if at all there is a problem with a product then the product manager will be thrown under the bus (a little more context here - during my phone interview the hiring manager did tell me that if something goes wrong then the product manager will have to bear the brunt. I should have realized it at that point itself). Also first data was merged with fiserv in July last year. This position was at first data office in Mississauga. I don’t think I can ever bring myself to even think about reapplying here. It’s just a horrible experience. Have to come out of this nightmare and focus my energy on right things to get back confidence in life.
Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 1 semana. Fui entrevistado pela Fiserv (Nenagh) em mai. de 2026
Entrevista
First round with recruiter call then on to the fiserv team call. Nice conversation. Good details of role. Clear communication. Fast response. Didn't get the job but I wasn't left waiting and they gave me feedback. Overall pleasant experience
The interviewer was straightforward about the characteristics of the job, without omitting information that may be unattractive, and without reserve explained into more details other aspects of the job. The interview coordination was acceptable.

Previous work experience and the type of work environment I'm used to.
Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Fiserv (Coral Springs, FL).
Entrevista
Standard interview process that included a phone interview with recruiter, followed by an interview with the hiring manager. Questions were very standard as they were looking for a culture fit.

Tell me about a time in which you had to handle an escalation from a new client who was promised by sales that a feature was going to be available shortly after signing, and that feature was not even on the roadmap.
