Had a recruiter call, then moved on to the first round that was supposed to be technical. Despite mentioning to the recruiter that I'm on F1-OPT, I was told in the first round that I won't be considered because of my visa status. Huge disconnect between recruiter and hiring manager. Totally wasted my time.
