The phone and face to face interviews were actually not bad at all, everyone I spoke to was really friendly and generally I had a good interview experience. No technical questions, they just want to get a sense of your personality, work ethic, and goals. Ask lots of questions! My major critique was that I pretty much got teased by HR with too many positive commentary post interview to make it sound like things for me were going really well for almost 2 months post interview, and then I stopped hearing from them and when I followed up they told me that because they had too many applicants and the economy was bad, they weren't moving forward with my application. Applied, within 24 hours got an offer to interview over the phone. Phone interview was positive and was told I’d be recommended for a video interview. 3 days later, got a boilerplate rejection email. The kind that says, “after careful consideration” you know the one. The one that feigns consideration as corporate insulation from the applicants. If you want to still apply for a company that says, verbatim per the email, “We understand you may want additional information about our decision. However, as a company policy, we do not provide feedback”, then you are entitled to your own pain and suffering.
