I recently had my first interview with their recruiter, which lasted an hour, and it went very well. When we discussed salary requirements, he mentioned that my numbers were the highest among those that he had already spoken to but still within the acceptable range. He also acknowledged that the other candidates didn't possess the same level of experience that I did. Within two business days, I received a call indicating that I had advanced to the next round.
Within 7-10 days, I had two consecutive interviews. The first was with a team member, and once again, it went well. She asked typical questions.
Then, I had another interview with the VP. It's worth noting that I've previously held the exact position but in a different industry. Most of her questions were tailored towards someone with extensive experience in finance. Therefore, I provided answers based on my experience dealing with similar situations in my industry. Additionally, she mentioned that she hadn't had the chance to review my resume beforehand. So, I left that interview thinking there was a 50/50 chance of moving forward.
In the meantime, I received a call from another company, so I reached out to the recruiter who advised me that they were not moving forward with any final interviews.
Thinking I dodged a bullet.
