An internal recruiter reached out to me to apply for an HR job. Once I did, I reached back out to let her know I had submitted and to discuss next steps. She did not reply until the third time when they were in final stages and were planning on making an offer to someone the following week. Please do not ask serious professionals to apply for jobs to pad your candidate pool and then ghost them.
