This was my dream role and opportunity and no matter how much I showed enthusiasm and interest along with my prior work experience that would help me do this role, the interview itself was very robotic. They scheduled my interview a week after they first reach out to me, no recruiter call or information on the interview process. Then after the interview, it took them another week just to reject me. They completed just wasted my time and I feel like everything they asked me during the interview were really basic questions they could have just used my resume and auto-rejected me instead of crushing my soul like this

The first interview is a 60 minute call with the hiring manager with 15 minutes saved for an "exercise" in the first call. The questions were just read from a doc and there was no conversation back and forth, or interest in my answers. The questions were unclear and there was nothing positive about the experience. The interviewer couldn't have been less interested in my responses. Interviewing is not great today, but this was exceptionally bad.
