Entrevista
I applied online and was contacted by an HR recruiter, had an initial HR screening that I have to say was a lot more thorough than any I've had before from a PR firm (which is a good thing since I applied to one position and she thought I was a better fit for a different one!)
From the HR screening I was asked to have a phone interview with an SVP, and coming off of that I was asked to come into the office where I had four other face to face individual interviews and then they asked me to stay a bit longer to meet with the GM.
All in all from first contact to final interview a quick 15 days!

Honestly, for this particular interview the most difficult part was the HR screening, which was good because the recruiter really worked with me to see what I wanted out of a role and if that would be a good fit with what they had available.

Entrevista
I had a great experience with the recruiter, in-depth questions and great insight into the role. If only the tech team had the same approach. After shifting schedules around multiple times, the head of the tech team did not even show up. The other person on the call was quiet and barely asked any questions. I asked several in-depth questions that the person could not answer and was told soon after that I was not moving forward in the interview process.

I was recruited, so the process began with the recruiter contacting me, and then an interview with the recruiter. From there, I had 3 interviews with team members/leadership members. The recruiter stayed in continual contact with me and I never felt ghosted. I actually really enjoyed the interview process.

There were several questions relating back to culture, which I appreciated. It became quickly clear that FH cares deeply about the person, not only about the work.

Entrevista
When I expressed my desire to learn the agency side of communications and how this would contribute to my professional growth, the hiring manager seemed confused and emphasized that this was a leadership role and asked me to how this desire would fit with the role expectations, which came off a bit insulting, as I’ve been in a communications leadership role reporting to the CEO for over 10 years, just not within an agency. It appeared the culture here doesn’t view leadership roles as roles that should position themselves in learning and growth mindsets, which may explain the reviews on here from current and past junior employees of leadership culture.
