I applied to work at AppliedTrust on indeed. I then recieved an email from their HR rep asking me to set up a phone interview via Google calendar. The interview with the HR rep went great. He was super friendly and nice. He was able to answer all my questions and asked a couple simple technical questions. I was then told I would be hearing from someone in a technical role who would schedule a second phone interview. I heard from the second interviewer via email and set up the interview for the following week. I got prepared for the interview and two minutes pass the time for the interview I received an email asking me to reschedule which I found incredibly unprofessional. Once I had rescheduled the interview, I received a Google calendar invite to confirm the new interview. I waited about ten minutes for the interviewer to call me, but he never did. I inspected the calendar invite to find in the notes second he listed his phone number. I called the interviewer and apologized for not realizing I was supposed to call him, as he did not mention it in either of the emails he sent me. Once we got on the phone he asked me multiple technical questions. He seemed very uninterested in having to give this interview. When I asked him to explain AppliedTrust's company culture, he seemed confused as though he had never heard of the term. I was told I would hear from the HR rep at the end of the week for next steps, when I didn't hear from him, I reached out and was told they were no longer pursuing me as a candidate and he thought the other interviewer had told me. This company is incredibly unprofessional.
