A recruiter reached out via AngelList and set up a call, which was about 20 minutes and extremely unprofessional. The recruiter was talking to others in the background and not listening to me much. After the call, I was invited to schedule an in-person meeting. I ended up interviewing with one associate and one manager, who was extremely unprofessional. Both gave me scenarios I might face in the position. While the first scenario didn't require any industry knowledge, the second certainly did. I wish they were more upfront with the fact that they are clearly looking for someone with industry knowledge. It would have saved me and many others lots of time. Overall, it seems like their process is geared towards interviewing as many applicants as possible, regardless of industry experience. A few days after the interview, I received an email from the recruiter asking me to complete a follow up survey via Survey Monkey about my experience. This just demonstrates how unprofessional this company is.
