The interview process went as follows: Submitted my resume online, email from Flexport Head of Growth same day with an invite to schedule a phone interview. Phone interview went well and I was notified 3-days later via email requesting availability for an onsite interview. Onsite interview went well (or so I had thought) follow up email 5 days later passing on candidacy. I'll take this area to reference that for anyone applying for this position that does not have prior Freight Forwarding Industry experience do as much research about the Freight Forwarding Industry and the processes involved! There job description states 0-3 years experience, giving the impression if you do not have experience in the industry its okay because they have a training program. However, the "deciding factor" for whether I would be invited back to meet with upper management was the answer to an industry question (which I will not disclose out of respect) relating to knowledge that would require some previous industry experience. Overall the process was very well organized. The interviewers where very personable and I could tell they love their jobs. I was really looking forward to working at a place with such motivated people and hope they will consider me to interview again in the future.

there were three stages: a regular interview with questions such as telling the interviewer about yourself and some STAR style questions, a case study interview surrounding dealing with an unhappy client/losing client’s supplies, and an interview which surrounded questions on drive and resilience.
