Candidatei-me online. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Flock Freight.
Entrevista
The process started great, the recruiter was incredibly kind and had a lot of very flattering things to say about my experience. He asked all of the typical recruiter questions and even most of what a hiring manager would ask. He said I was incredibly, if not overly, qualified.
I met with the hiring manager who asked me zero questions about my experience. Mostly gave me insight into the industry and day to day. I asked some specifics, learned about the team, it was a nice conversation. I was asked if I thought it was something I would like to do, I said yes, and was told that they'd work to get me set up for the next two rounds with the recruiter. I was thrilled!
I got a rejection the next day without reason. I have attempted to get more information, since this contradicted what I was told, have not heard back.
About 6 weeks. 3 interviews with a recruiter, hiring manger, and sales manager. Very straightforward if you're familiar with the industry. Initial phone call was followed by 2 video interviews
Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 2 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Flock Freight (Chicago, IL) em out. de 2025
Entrevista
My interview process with Flock Freight started off very positive. The recruiter was organized, professional, and easy to work with. The conversations with the director and the immediate team were also smooth and gave me a good sense of the role and the culture.
The experience changed during the final round with executive leadership. After completing six interviews in one week and receiving consistently positive feedback, including being told my skills and impressions were exceptional, the process ended because the team’s direction had shifted. It felt as though expectations in the final round were not fully aligned, and the level of time and commitment asked of candidates did not match the clarity provided about what the team was actually looking for.
I still appreciate the professionalism I experienced in the earlier stages, but there is room for improvement in setting consistent expectations and avoiding lengthy interview loops when priorities are still evolving.
