Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 3 meses. Fui entrevistado pela Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project (Phoenix, AZ) em abr. de 2022
Entrevista
Requirement: BA / or combination of experience, Spanish.
Salary range on application - 41k to 52k salary.
I had a wonderful conversation with HR -
After going over my ample experience (10+ years), I had panel interview with 3 team members (who were awesome!). We all connected.
Though when it came down to the offer HR offered the lowest salary of the range, said it was based on experience and that "the team made the decision"
After having discussion around my experience with HR, I counter offered the salary, and asked to please have the team to reevaluate.
3 days later HR called stating "there is not enough equity for this position." Huh?? You mean the budget for the req?
I can't imagine any organization telling any future candidates that the budget designated for a position offered on their website is not available.
RED FLAG
HR is acting like a recruiter, cheating future candidates of a higher salary

The initial phone screen was excellent. Standard questions about my HR experience.
The on-site interview was scheduled one week later. This interview started 15 minutes late. It was a panel interview of 3 interviewers - extremely intimidating. The interviewers seemed very unprepared. When answering questions, their faces showed whether they liked or disliked my answer (raised eyebrows, etc.).
It took almost three weeks to hear back. I was disappointed to receive a generic rejection email rather than a personalized one - especially since I took time out of my busy schedule to drive downtown for this interview (especially since this is a small organization).
