      Entrevista

Weird! Walked into a 2x2 office- First thing that I noticed 2 business names on the wall. Office setting small, crowed by applicants. For a moment, I though I was at an employment agency. A very young gentleman comes to the door and called my name and someone else names. Both of us are invited into an office and are given a brief orientation about the company. First thing he said is that we were both there for the same position and we were to compete against each other. Odd! How was to compete someone with not experience and a high school diploma?! However, I go with the flow.... as a professional with a master degree. I just asked a few questions and I continue with the process. I get an email within a few seconds of leaving the interview that I am being selected for the second interview. Second day, I was schedule to go in to observe HR staff and to learn about some of the duties. Wrong! I get send with a group of 4 others to observe how they go into a Walmart store to sell Comcast account enrollment. After a few hours of asking questions about employees salaries, type of employment, benefits, company mission, vision, culture, hours of operations, ROI, profits and all those sorts of questions and not having any of them answer. I kindly asked them to take me back to the office. Then, I spoke to CEO who apologize for the misunderstanding and try to convince me to come back into the office to complete the interview process. By them, every red flag possible was letting me know that the company was not as serious as they claim and what it seems to be a real employment its nothing but a joke. Red flags Employees get paid $35 daily and work and average of 10 to 12 hours selling Comcast enrollment at Walmart or BestBuy Employees given a 15 min. lunch break Employees drives personal cars and uses personal cell phone for business ( no reimbursement for usage) Employees are paid less than minimum wage daily under Florida Law Working condition- In their feet (Hustle ling) term uses by manager onsite to sale presentation - 2 x2 table - no company display, product or reading materials such as flyers or signs Employees do not carry name tag or company logo ( treated as independent contractor) even though they claim to be on payroll Company business numbers are actually recruiters phone number (red flag) A multimillion company should be able to afford a business line right!

Hi, Thanks for your feedback. We currently share our office space with another company, hence the 2 business names. Many firms share space so we're a little confused as to why this is ‘weird’. At FBC we don’t pre-judge based solely on education or experience. We look for people with ambition, a strong work ethic and positive attitude. While a degree is a great thing to have, and can certainly be beneficial, we do not believe it makes someone automatically better suited to our positions. Your explanation of the second interview makes us believe you were perhaps interviewed for the wrong role, and we would like to apologize if that was the case. Our CEO would have been more than happy to answer any questions you had, this is something we routinely do in the third and final interview. The $35 is a base pay, employees are paid uncapped commission for every sale they make, therefore putting the power into employees hands and letting them control their earnings. We believe this business model is fairest as it means those who put the most in get the most out. There is no company logo or display at our events because we are selling and promoting Comcast, not FBC which would provide confusion to consumers. Kind Regards.
