Lengthy. 2-3 MONTHS. You apply and give them a ridiculous amount of information. Then you wait and they contact you a month later. If you haven't found another job in the meantime, they want MORE information about any interaction with the courts or law enforcement. another month will go by and eventually they'll offer you an interview. The interview for "OIT" (Office of Information Technology) is ridiculous. You can't negotiate the salary, they advertise a "range" between 34 and 90. You're getting 34. The powers that be won't allow anyone to be hired above the minimum regardless of ANYTHING. Education, experience, nothing matters.

Entrevista
The interview process was pretty straight forward. Was interviewed by 2 gentlemen. Very nice guys and easy to talk to. They explained the position and then told me that they have 15 questions they wanted to ask. Some technical and some situational.

What is the difference between a Workgroup and Domain?
They gave me 5 multiple choice answers and asked which one would I do first. 1. PC Crashing, 2. User had an important doc that needed to go out at a certain time and PC was not working, 3. Email is down, 4. User needs access to a share to get work done, 5. Sorry, don't remember.
