I had to submit a cover letter, resume, references, and a personal statement about my career goals. After this, I was asked for a phone interview, which lasted about an hour; I was asked questions about my personal skills and likes/dislikes as well as explained the needs of the company and the duties of the position. Then I was given a background check and went through a few iterations of contract negotiation.
