The process was straightforward, but it involved several rounds of interviews. First, I completed a phone screen with HR, followed by a video interview with the potential supervisor for the position. After that, I was given a test assignment involving writing and proofreading. The last step was three more video interviews with different managers on the marketing team. In the end, I didn't receive an offer and I was ok with that. What really bugged me was the complete lapse in communication following the last round of interviews. I was essentially ghosted never to hear from anyone at the company again. Follow-up emails were ignored and I was never formally notified I had not been chosen. I believe companies should treat candidates better than this, especially if the hiring process is going to be a long drawn-out one.
