HR scheduled an interview by email, asking me to pick a time and provide my phone number. At the scheduled time, she called, and the interview lasted around 30 minutes.
Incredibly clunky, even down to the booking of the interview. The consultant in HR who interviewed me had little to no knowledge of the company, industry, or position. Was very much a waste of time, especially for the position they were interviewing for. Corporate America continues to clunk its way through, unable to find new ways of interviewing, hiring, and creative dynamic teams to compete globally.
