      Entrevista

      Overall Formlabs seems like an interesting & innovative company. Their recruiting process needs to be buttoned up though. It took over 10 days to schedule a phone screen, when I gave several chunks of availability. Then I was interviewed for a different role than I actually applied for, with no mention of the previous role. The structure of the interview was also a bit odd, it didn't feel like a fluid conversation. These are obviously growing pains that come with a start up, I would just suggest they tighten things up.

      Entrevista

      Formlabs was able to accommodate my tight schedule and get me an offer within 2 weeks because I had another offer. First there was an initial phone call, which was quite basic. Then they asked me to complete a short presentation project and present it onsite. I was able to come in on a Sunday to interview, which was amazingly accommodating.

      Entrevista

      30 minute phone screen and on site interview where you had to bring your recruiting project aka free labor. Overall, the people were nice but there are some serious issues with the recruiting department as one of the interviewers disclosed that a significant number of their direct hires are employee referrals which tells me that the organization itself is still not well known in the market. I also found it a little unnerving that the department head did not participate in the early stages of the interview process and instead had the least experienced people conduct 1st round of interviews. This is actually frustrating when the interviewers tells you they can't get "people through the door" so the "solution" is to have actual experienced recruiters come in and clean house. Very disorganized and embarrassing.
