I got a on site interview, then i got a task after the interview. then they answered by rejection 2 months later, but the overall interview was good. the senior engineer was very nice and it felt easy.

I recently had a 30-minute interview. The experience was less than satisfactory for several reasons. The interviewer spent the first 5 to 7 minutes discussing the company and its owner, which provided some context but seemed to consume a significant portion of the already short interview time. During the interview, the questions were focused on AWS services that I do not use in my current role. Despite holding an AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification, which covers a broad range of services, the interviewer focused on specific services I have limited practical experience with, rather than those I am proficient in and actively work with. Additionally, at one point, the interviewer asked if I had written a bash script. When I confirmed that I had, he followed up by asking if I was the one who wrote it or if it was ChatGPT. This question felt somewhat dismissive and undermined my professional experience. This approach made it challenging to demonstrate my relevant skills and experience. Overall, the interview could have been more effective if the questions were tailored to my professional background and the skills I bring to the table. Better alignment between the interviewer’s questions and my experience would have provided a more accurate assessment of my capabilities and fit for the position.
