Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 4 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Forum Plastics (Waterbury, CT) em set. de 2025
Entrevista
I recently interviewed for a position at Forum Plastics (aka Forum Contract Manufacturing) and wanted to share my experience.
I applied through the job site where the position was posted but didn’t initially hear back. After following up three weeks later, I received a message that they wanted to schedule an interview. I met in person with HR and the department head. Although they arrived about 15 minutes late, the interview itself was friendly, informative, and lasted about 45 minutes. Both seemed genuinely interested in my background, and overall, the conversation went well.
Unfortunately, after sending a thank-you message through the same job platform, I noticed it was left unread - and I haven’t heard anything in the three weeks since. I don’t have any direct contact information for follow-up.
One concern I did have was that the HR representative made a few personal remarks about her own background that appeared to be a way of fishing for similar information about me - the kind that’s generally not appropriate or legal to ask in interviews. It left me with the impression that they might use personal factors in hiring decisions, which felt unprofessional and disappointing given how positive the rest of the interview had been.
Overall, it was a mixed experience - a good conversation with the hiring manager, but poor follow-up and some questionable professionalism from HR.
