Two rounds of interviews. The boss /owner seems seedy and only out to make money. It’s very obvious that you’ll work overtime for little pay and reviews confirm it. The benefits look nice and flashy but does not seem like it would be worth it

The clinician who runs the practice had me come in for an in-person interview even though I live out of state. He asked me to bring in several resumes for the interview. He said at some point we would meet with others on the team and that they typically did 3-4 interviews. When I got there we went to his office and he said that they didn't do things in the typical way. He then told me to ask him questions. I asked several questions, although we had already spoken on the phone several times so there were many things I already knew. Then he looked over my resume and asked things which did not seem to necessarily pertain to the job. Overall, it was a very confusing process as he never asked any interview questions. I am not sure how he is able to gain any insight into a counselor's preparedness for the field without asking about any of their experiences.
